In der Kürze liegt die Würze: Via Twitter bestätigte Christer Ericson (Tech-Director bei Sony Computer Entertainment), dass God of War III den Gold-Status erreicht hat und somit die Entwicklung abgeschlossen ist. Das Spiel wird nun vervielfältigt und soll im März veröffentlicht werden.
