Mass Effect 2: Inhalte der PS3-Version

Im Januar soll Mass Effect 2 (ab 8,25€ bei kaufen) auch für PlayStation 3 erscheinen und mittlerweile hat sich Producer Casey Hudson gegenüber der Play3-Printausgabe zu den Bonusinhalten der PS3-Version geäußert. Neben einem interaktiven Comic, der über die bisherige Story informieren und zugleich alle wichtigen Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten des ersten Teils bieten soll, sind die drei Download-Content-Pakete "Kasumi - Gestohlene Erinnerungen", "Overlord" und "Versteck des Shadow Brokers" enthalten. Zudem soll ein Freischalt-Code alle bisher veröffentlichten Inhalte im Ceberus-Netzwerk freischalten.

Außerdem wurde in dem Interview eine weitere Mission mit rund sechs Stunden Spielzeit angekündigt. Bei dieser "neuen Mission" handelt es sich offenbar um einen Übersetzungfehler, wie nun BioWare im internationalen Forum richtig gestellt hat. Mit den sechs Stunden sei lediglich die Zeit gemeint, die der Zusatzcontent (also interaktiver Comic plus die drei integrierten DLC-Pakete) in etwa zum Hauptspiel hinzufügen wird.

I want also to touch on the '6 hour exclusive mission'.  This I believe is a communication error lost in translation.  When we talk about 6 hours of content we are talking about what's included exclusively "On Disc" (Kasumi, Shadow Broker, Overlord), The Interactive Back Story and the Cerberus Network Access.  (thx auch an Sejanus)

BioWare Edmonton (the group that made Mass Effect 2) teamed up with the fine folks at Dark Horse Comics to create an interactive backstory.  While I can't release all the details about this yet, what I can tell you is that we want to create a stunning visual experience that not only tells the core story elements of  Mass Effect 1, but also is fully interactive allowing you to be faced with some of the major choices which will have consequences your Mass Effect universe.  This interactive comic's initial release will be exclusive to PS3 owners who would be otherwise unable to realize the full effect of choice in the Mass Effect universe and will be included on the Cerberus Network.
