Tetris (PS3): Tetris in HD angekündigt (PSN)

Electronic Arts und Blue Planet Software wollen noch im Dezember eine erweiterte Version von Tetris als Download-Titel im PlayStation Network veröffentlichen. Das bekannte Puzzlespiel soll in HD-Grafik (1080p) erstrahlen, 5.1 Surround-Sound bieten und über Online-Multiplayer-Möglichkeiten verfügen (Screenshots). 

Tetris kann mit bis zu sechs Spielern sowohl online als auch offline gespielt werden. Ein kooperativer Team-Modus ist ebenso geplant wie eine Team-Battle-Variante (z.B. 2vs2) - auch der Battle-Modus mit neuen Power-Ups wird mit von der Partie sein. Insgesamt soll es ein Dutzend Spielmodi geben, darunter ebenfalls der "Marathon-Modus". Weltweite und regionale Ranglisten sind außerdem fest eingeplant.

Zum Preis hat sich EA noch nicht geäußert.
