Wie Square Enix bekannt gibt, werden Final Fantasy und Final Fantasy II am 16. Februar bzw. 2. März als Download via PlaysStation Network erhältlich sein - Kostenpunkt jeweils 9,99 Euro.

Wer allerdings vor hat, sich Dissidia 012 oder The 3rd Birthday zuzulegen, sollte wissen, dass Ersterem ein Rabattgutschein von 50 Prozent auf Final Fantasy beiliegen wird, während Letzteres mit einem entsprechenden Gutschein für Final Fantasy II aufwarten wird.

Die Downloads werden auch die Bonusdungeons Labyrinth of Time (Final Fantasy), Arcane Labyrinth und Arcane Sanctuary (Final Fantasy II) sowie eine Bildergalerie mit Illustrationen von Yoshitaka Amano enthalten.
