Wie City Interactive verkündet, wird es Sniper: Ghost Warrior Anfang 2012 auch auf iOS-Plattformen verschlagen. Der Release soll damit etwa zeitlich mit der Fortsetzung Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 erscheinen, die für PCs und Konsolen entwickelt wird.

Als technisches Gerüst wird Epics Unreal Engine 3 verwendet.
