Watch Dogs: Watch_Dogs: PS4-Version bestätigt, neues Bildmaterial veröffentlicht

Damit hatte man gerechnet: Nachdem Ubisoft sich auf der vergangenen E3 noch darum gedrückt hatte, die Zielplattformen von Watch_Dogs zu benennen, später dann auf die aktuelle Konsolengeneration verwies, bestätigte man nach einigen "Next-Gen"-Andeutungen in New York, dass der Open-World-Titel auch für die PS4 produziert wird und einer der Launch-Titel der Konsole sein wird. Eine Ankündigung für den Nachfolger der Xbox 360 dürfte dann zu gegebener Zeit folgen. Im Rahmen einer Pressemitteilung wurde auch eine Wii U-Version erwähnt.

"Players will assume the role of Aiden Pearce, a new type of vigilante who, with the help of his smartphone, will use his ability to hack into Chicago’s central operating system (ctOS) and control almost every element of the city. Aiden will be able to tap into the city’s omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control systems such as traffic lights or public transportation to stop a chase, and more. The city of Chicago is now the ultimate weapon."
