Defense Grid 2 angekündigt

Hidden Path Entertainment hat soeben Defense Grid 2 (PC, Mac, Linux) für Anfang 2014 angekündigt. Durch die Kickstarter-Kampagne im letzten Jahr, die zur Produktion von Defense Grid: Containment geführt hatte, ist offenbar ein Investor für das Tower Defense-Spiel gefunden worden und mittlerweile ist der Nachfolger in trockenen Tüchern.

Defense Grid 2 soll neue als auch bekannte Verteidigungsanlagen und Gegner beinhalten und darüber hinaus einen kooperativen und kompetitiven Mehrspieler-Modus bieten. Ein Level-Editor für "User Created Content" ist ebenfalls geplant.
