The Game Awards 2015: Die nominierten Spiele stehen fest

Am 3. Dezember 2015 werden zum zweiten Mal "The Game Awards" verliehen. Laut Geoff Keighley (Producer) handelt es sich hierbei um eine "unabhängige Veranstaltung" und würde nicht in Zusammenhang mit Viacom oder Spike TV stehen - wohl als Abgrenzung zu den alten "Video Game Awards". Die Veranstaltung wird via go90, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Wii U, Steam, Twitch, YouTube, IGN, Polygon, GameSpot, Kotaku, Niconico und MLG übertragen .

Welche Spiele für die Auszeichnungen in den jeweiligen Kategorien nominiert wurden, steht mittlerweile auch fest. Ausgesucht wurden die Titel von einer Jury aus 32 internationalen Medienvertretern. Die eSports-Nominierungen wurden von eSport-Webseiten zusammengestellt. Alle Spiele, die bis zum 24. November 2015 veröffentlicht wurden, durften nominiert werden. Den Preis in der Kategorie "Spiel des Jahres" können Bloodborne, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, Super Mario Maker und The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gewinnen.
