PlayStation 4: Fast 36 Mio. Mal weltweit verkauft; 5,7 Mio. Konsolen und 35 Mio. PS4-Spiele in der Weihnachtssaison verkauft

Nicht nur Microsoft kann auf eine erfolgreiche Weihnachtssaison 2015 zurückblicken (wir berichteten), auch Sony konnte vom 22./23. November 2015 bis zum 2./3. Januar 2016 mehr als 5,7 Mio. Exemplare der PlayStation 4 (ab 1,29€ bei kaufen) weltweit verkaufen. Seit dem Verkaufsstart der Konsole wurden insgesamt 35,9 Mio. Geräte verkauft. In der Weihnachtssaison (Zeitraum siehe oben) wurden zugleich 35 Mio. PS4-Spiele verkauft - sowohl im Einzelhandel als auch digital. Welche Spiele sich besonders gut verkauften, gab das Unternehmen nicht bekannt. Auch die Zahl der PlayStation-Plus-Abonnenten hat zugelegt und zwar um 60 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Konkrete Abonnentenzahlen wurden ebenso nicht genannt.
