Sony: Wechsel in der Führungsetage: Andrew House geht; John Kodera übernimmt den Posten
Sony hat einen Wechsel in der Führungsetage bekanntgegeben . Andrew House, Präsident und Global CEO von Sony Interactive Entertainment, wird das Unternehmen (nach über 27 Jahren) verlassen, da er sich "neuen Herausforderungen" stellen möchte. Seine Position wird mit sofortiger Wirkung von John (Tsuyoshi) Kodera, bisheriger "Deputy President" von Sony Interactive Entertainment, übernehmen. Kodera leitete (seit 2013) Sony Network Entertainment International und war federführend für PlayStation Network, PlayStation Now und PlayStation Plus verantwortlich.
Andrew House wird noch bis zum Jahresende im Vorstand bleiben, um für einen möglichst reibungslosen Wechsel zu sorgen. Andrew House übernahm im Jahr 2011 den Führungsposten von Kazuo Hirai und damit die Veröffentlichung der PlayStation 4 vorangetrieben. House ist der Ansicht, dass das Unternehmen in erstklassigen Händen sei und die PlayStation-Zukunft "sehr gut" aussehen würde.

John and the team at SIE are world-class and I know the future of PlayStation is very bright", sagte Andrew House.
